Excess gum
Before and after treatment
An 18-year-old patient who came to our center because her teeth felt very small and excess gums when smiling. After an exhaustive examination of his gums, he discovered that he presented a syndrome called ALTERED PASSIVE ERUPTION, due to which his gums have not retracted naturally and the teeth are excessively covered by gums. After a minimally invasive microsurgery, between 1-2 millimeters of gum is removed to re-visualize the real size of the tooth and improve the appearance of your smile.
