“Treating dentist fear“
Sedation of Mrs. J.R.
15% of the population suffers anxiety when they go to the dentist. This fear manifests with sweating, muscle tension and discomfort. In many cases the patient cannot sleep because of the stress caused by the visit to the dentist. The application of nitrous oxide allows relaxing the patient during the visit and “evading” the dental treatment. In this way we deactivate the patient’s anxiety and improve his comfort. In the same way, the patient shows greater motivation for his dental care, which translates into an improvement of his dental health state.
R.J. explains how her experience was before using nitrous oxide and how she feels now with its application during dental treatment.
