The lack of regular monitoring and gum disinfection treatment can lead to recession of the gingiva that favors dental hypersensitivity to cold and long-term tooth mobility.
The appearance of new minimally invasive gum reconstruction techniques has allowed predictable recovery of the lost gum, even in cases of severe gum loss.
We treated a 43-year-old patient with recession of the gum affecting several parts of the upper teeth. After an exhaustive study of the case, a minimally invasive microsurgery was proposed and in a single session we recovered the lost gum. The final result showed complete recovery of the gum in all affected teeth.
