CLINICAL CASE

Gum retraction

Gum retraction caused by periodontitis is a common consequence of this type of disease. The treatment requires a microsurgery intervention in a single 1-hour session to rebuild the lost gum.

Before and after treatment

We observed the case of a 35-year-old patient who suffered considerable gingival loss in a lower canine. Microsurgery with the use of gum grafts managed to recover the lost gum naturally and without complications.

At Clinica Pronova, we offer different types of periodontal treatments
